R2-KT

Hasbro and Lucasfilm Ltd. have created an action figure in memory of Katie Johnson, a seven year old star wars fan who passed away from brain cancer in 2005.

In 2005, the R2-D2 Builders Club created a life-size astromech droid named R2-KT named after Katie. Hasbro, the maker of Star Wars action figures, and Lucasfilm were touched by Katie's story and decided to create a special edition 3-3/4" R2-KT figure in Katie's honor.

The action figures will be for sale an San Diego's Comic Con convention July 25-29 and then a limited supply will be available for sale online. To learn more about R2-KT, check out her website at www.r2kt.com
