So, I realize that Americans can be pretty self-centered arrogant folk. And I relaize that many Americans don't know the first thing about other countries or cultures. And I realize that money isn't everything. But, I've had just about enough of the global community whining about how they don't like America and that they would be better off without us.
Here is a map that compares the Gross Domestic Product of each American State (and DC) to the GDP of a foreign country. It is worth noting that Texas is comparable to Canada, Washington DC is comparable to New Zealand, and California is comparable to France.
California Fries anyone?
