Wiiitis
I'm not making this up. Honestly. The New England Journal of Medicine recently published an article describing a medicial condition coined "Wiiitis" with symptoms similar to tennis elbow or rotator cuff injuries.
To make things more bizzare, the article differentiates Wiiitis from Nintendinitis, a condition characterized by thumb soreness (button mashing FTW!). Nintendinitis has been recognized since 1990.
Fellow Wii owners, fear not! For there is a cure to Wiiitis. Dr. Julio Bonis, author of the medical journal article, suggests taking Ibuprofen and abstaining from Wii for a week. Wait, no Wii for a week? That's crazy talk! I guess there is no cure afterall.
