Evidently, there are no more toddlers to be found in Japan. Not even one.
To remedy this situation, Japanese scientists have created a Robot Toddler that supposedly acts just like a human toddler. Minoru Asada, professor at Osaka University and lead scientist on the development team, stated that they created the Robot Toddler in an effort to "learn more about child development."

Of course! Robots develop exactly like humans. Brilliant!
Professor Asada was not quoted as saying, "Our next project is to develop a Robot Scientist in order to better understand what in the world we were thinking."
